Tianjin

Tianjin is situated between 38°34′ to 40°15′ north latitude and 116°43′ to 118°4′ east longitude, falling within the Eastern Eighth District of the international time zone. It has a total land area of 11,966.45 square kilometers, with a coastline stretching 153.67 km. Positioned on the Pacific Ocean's western coast, Tianjin lies in the northeast of the North China Plain, within the lower reaches of the Haihe River basin. The Bohai Sea borders it to the east, the Yanshan Mountains to the north, and the capital city of Beijing to the west. This location has earned it the epithets of 'the tip of the nine rivers' and 'the fortress of the river and the sea.' Tianjin serves as a vital junction of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, a strategic pivot point along the Maritime Silk Road, a convergence point of the 'Belt and Road' initiative, and the nearest eastern starting point of the Eurasian Continental Bridge. It is a crucial gateway connecting the East and the West, serving as a significant maritime outlet for neighboring landlocked countries. With its backing from North China, Northwest China, and Northeast China, Tianjin boasts an extensive economic hinterland. It serves as a vital conduit for foreign exchanges among numerous provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in northern China, and stands as the largest port city in the northern region. Located 120 kilometers from Beijing, Tianjin acts as the gateway to the capital city.

Tianjin Binhai New Area

Tianjin Binhai New Area is positioned on the eastern coast of Tianjin, at the intersection of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Bohai Economic Belt, approximately 45 km away from the city center of Tianjin.

Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone

Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone is situated within the Tianjin Binhai New Area, consisting of three sections: the airport, the harbor, and the seaport. Each section enjoys a favorable location and convenient transportation.

It is on the northeast side of the Tianjin Binhai International Airport, with easy access to the airport and Tianjin city center.

l Tianjin Binhai International Airport: 8 km, 10 minutes by car; currently, it only takes 1 stop and 10 minutes to reach the airport from Airport Economic Area Station by taking Metro Line M2. In the future, whether you depart from Central Avenue Station on Metro Line Z2 (under construction, opening in 2025) or from the East 2nd Avenue Station on the extended Metro Line M2 (opening within 3 years, with transfer to Metro Line 13 available), it will still only take 1 stop to reach the airport.
