Jin Xiangjun, the vice mayor of Tianjin, attended the event and delivered a keynote speech, HaiQiao Automobile (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and Integra Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Integra"), Tianjin port free trade zone management committee. The Italian petrochemical equipment enterprise Co., Ltd. (referred to as the "Italian IPM company") signed cooperation agreements, respectively, marking the medical ambulance joint venture project. The Italian IPM company China headquarter project officially settled in the Tianjin Free Port trade zone.

Integra is an international company with over 30 years of experience producing ambulances, equipment, and related services, headquartered in Latina, Italy. The company is currently the official ambulance supplier in Italy. This time, Integra and Haiqiao automobile decided to set up a joint venture in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, mainly focusing on ambulance installation and sales.

Italian IPM is a leading international company in the equipment integration industry, headquartered in Milan, Italy. IPM has branches in more than 30 countries worldwide, having trade and services businesses in petrochemical, power, hydrogen, and other industries. At present, IPM has offices in Beijing and Shanghai, respectively, mainly provides import services for large state-owned enterprises such as Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC, and foreign companies such as BASF, KBR, and Chiyoda and export services for domestic enterprises, including Chengdu Huaxi Institute, Shen Gu Group, and Seagull Cooling Tower enterprises, to help the enterprises expand to the international market. The IPM China headquarter will mainly engage in equipment importing and exporting business, supply chain management, and other services, with an estimated annual trade volume of 50million euros.

Italy-Tianjin Corporation

The Tianjin Municipal government decided to set up Tianjin-Italian SME Industrial Park relying on Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone in 2019 to actively implement the Belt and Road Initiative to provide Italian SMEs with a world-class business environment. Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, relying on its comprehensive advantages, speeds up the Italian SME industrial park construction, sets up the Italian SME service institution, establishes various types of enterprise operation carriers, formulates policies to support Italian enterprises, and provides comprehensive and efficient services for Italian enterprises. The Tianjin Port Free trade zone has about 26 Italian enterprises, 4 of which were settled this year, with a dozen undergoing projects. Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone keeps a close relationship with the Italian trade commission (ITA), China chamber of commerce (CICC), Italy, Italy aerospace enterprises association (IAN) institutions. In addition, Lingang Intelligent Equipment Park standard workshop Phase II, Lingang China-Europe International Center, Airport Tianbao Business Park designated for Italian enterprises, Airport Huanpu Plant Park, and other construction projects are under accelerated construction.

The person responsible for the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Management Committee said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between China and Italy.
