The sixth edition of the China International Helicopter Exposition opened on September 14th (September 14-17) in Tianjin. The Aviation and Aerospace Working Group under the auspices of the CCIC, in close collaboration with the Italian Aerospace Network (IAN) and with the support of the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, organized a collective of highly specialized Italian companies at the event.

The Expo, organized by the Administrative Committee of the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), positions itself as the second-largest exhibition in the aviation sector in China, annually bringing together international and Chinese big players.

The collective presented innovative Italian SMEs well-positioned as suppliers to major European aeronautical manufacturers. Among them were CEFLA Finishing, specialized in custom "turnkey" lines and accredited supplier of complete spraying solutions in the aeronautical sector; CIMA Spa, provider of cutting-edge solutions for high-performance transmission components and gears;

Marposs, a group of companies focused onproviding one-stop-shop precision measurement and testing solutions for quality inspection and production control; and TXT Group, an international IT group that provides advanced software solutions for pilot training, maintenance technicians, and cabin crew to OEMs, simulator manufacturers, and training institutes.The pavilion was supported by the company Greatway Advisory (GWA).

The collective was inaugurated in thepresence of the Vice President of the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, Mr. Zhao Xuesen, who emphasized the importance of collaboration with Tianjin and the relevance of the Italian entrepreneurial fabric characterized by a long tradition, rich technical expertise, and a comprehensive industrial system, full of Made in Italy excellence:

"We hope that all Italian entrepreneurs will use the expo as a business platform and seize the opportunity to experience the economic vitality of Tianjin, the pearl ofnorthern China, and the great potential of the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone forthe development of the aeronautical industry and beyond."

Participation in the collective was preceded by a B2B activity with the Chinese player AVIC organized by the chamber working group and the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and aimed at the participating Italian companies.
