Tianjin Northern Net News: On September 7th, it was reported from the Tianjin Municipal Government Press Conference of the 6th China Tianjin International Helicopter Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Heli Expo") will be held at the AVIC Tianjin Civil Helicopter Industrial Base in Tianjin Airport Economic Area from September 14 to 17, with a four-day duration. The first two days are dedicated to professionals, while the last two days are open to the general public. The total number of professional and general public visitors is estimated to exceed 60,000. Tianjin Heli Expo is China's only national-level international helicopter professional exhibition, ranking as the world's second-largest helicopter specialized exposition and the only one with flight demonstrations in the world.

The 6th Tianjin Heli Expo is jointly organized by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC), and the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Army, with the cooperation of the Tianjin Binhai New Area People's Government. Co-organizers include the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee, AVIC Helicopter Co., Ltd., PLA Equipment Department, ABE International Business Exhibition Company from France, and AVIC Culture Co., Ltd.

With the theme of "Innovation Leading Development, Cooperation Achieving Win-Win," this expo adopts the main format of "One Conference, One Exhibition, One Performance, One Trade." It showcases the latest technologies, products, achievements, and solutions in the global helicopter industry. The event aims to provide platforms for innovation cooperation, industry matchmaking, technology exchange, and technology achievement transformation. Various activities will be organized, including product displays, specialized forums, flight demonstrations, new product releases, project signings, and business negotiations.

The 6th Tianjin Heli Expo covers approximately 160,000 sqm, including 20,000 sqm of indoor exhibition area, 20,000 sqm of outdoor exhibition area, and a 60,000 sqm flight observation area, as well as business exchange and dining service areas. The number of exhibitors has exceeded 350, with over 40 domestic and foreign companies participating for the first time. All major global helicopter manufacturers and supporting enterprises, including AVIC, Airbus, Russian Helicopters, Bell, Leonardo, and other six major global helicopter mainframe manufacturers, as well as well-known engine and supporting production and service enterprises such as AECC, Safran, Collins Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney, will have their representatives attending the event.

This year's expo will showcase 65 helicopters and drones, including 49 helicopters, 13 large unmanned aerial vehicles, and three multi-rotor vertical take-off and landing aircraft. These include various models such as the PLA Army's Z-20, Z-10, Z-19 armed helicopters, Z-8 wide-body transport helicopters, AVIC's AC311A, AC312E, AC332, AC352 helicopters, Leonardo's AW189 executive helicopters, Airbus H135, Bell B505, Sikorsky S76, among others. Nearly 50 large exhibits of well-known domestic and foreign companies will also be displayed, including engines, flight simulators, airborne and avionics equipment, special vehicles and equipment. Among them, the AC332, Z-11E, AW189, Rango 500C drones, PLA Army's KVD multi-purpose drone, vertical take-off and landing drone, and China Aero Engine's WZ-16 engine and hydrogen fuel engine are all making their debut.

Unlike previous expos, the 6th Tianjin Heli Expo will have a more diverse exhibition format, integrating elements such asartificial intelligence, virtual reality, and human-computer interaction, enhancing professionalism, cutting-edge technology, aesthetics, and participatory nature.

The flight performance will remain the highlight of this year's expo, providing the audience with a feast of helicopter flights. The 6th Tianjin Heli Expo will continue to be led by the PLA army, with participating units including AVIC, Tianjin Police Aviation Corps, Beijing Police Aviation Corps, Reignwood Group, and 26 participating helicopters. There will be six flight performances showcasing the excellent performance of helicopters and the outstanding piloting skills of pilots. Among them, one performance each on the professional days and two performances each on the public days, each lasting half an hour, to meet the needs of professional audiences and the general public to experience helicopters up close to the greatest extent possible.

It is worth mentioning that this expo, focusing on the global general aviation industry development situation and hot topics of public concern, has carefully planned more than 200 professional forums and business activities. This includes the opening ceremony, the 2023 China Helicopter Development Forum, the key project signing ceremony, the "Airport Helicopter Night" business reception, the Tianjin Binhai New Area Aerospace Industry Promotion Conference, the new product release conferences of exhibitors, and B2B business exchange activities, all aimed atpromoting on-site business matchmaking to expand cooperation among aviation enterprises, driving the Tianjin Heli Expo to become a globally influential exchange platform for the helicopter industry, technology, and cooperation, and serving as a "guiding beacon" for the development of the international helicopter industry.

Since its inception in 2011, the Tianjin Heli Expo has successfully held five sessions, forming a pattern of "comprehensive Zhuhai Aerospace and Aviation Exhibition in the South, and specialized Tianjin Helicopter Expo in the North" in China.
