On December 14th, a Sino-Italian joint venture Yunlian Creation (Tianjin) Industrial Design Ltd. was registered in the Tianjin Italian SME Industrial Park. The company is a joint venture set by TORINO CREA ENGINEERING srl, Dalian SGD Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Hongwei Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd.

TORINO CREA ENGINEERING srl is headquartered in Turin, Italy and has two model factories with professional design teams and advanced technology and equipment. Dalian SGD Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Hongwei Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. are companies in China dealing with locomotive and rail transit vehicle parts products, railway transportation equipment and rail transit equipment interior manufacturing.

The joint venture will carry out design business in the industries such as complete rail vehicle body design, interior and exterior design, digital virtual prototype model technology and 1:1 model construction technology. The company will take advantage of the Italian team of designers and engineers, combine Italian innovative ideas with Chinese manufacturing capabilities, expand its business in the Chinese market with Tianjin as its base, develop into a first-class domestic and internationally renowned industrial design company, and lead the new trend of industrial design.

In order to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between Italy and China on jointly promoting the Belt and Road construction, the Tianjin Municipal Government has relied on the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone to build the Tianjin Italian SME Industrial Park, which is the first choice for Italian investment in China and a bridgehead for strategic cooperation between Italy and China. The park supports the development of design service enterprises in the area and strives to promote the integration of the design field with international exchanges, further gathering creative design resources and assisting Tianjin to become a design city.
