On the morning of October 29, 2021, Flight NO946 of the Italian Airlines Leos Airlines, carrying 242 passengers, landed smoothly at Tianjin Binhai International Airport. This marks the official opening of a fixed route between Milan and Tianjin. According to the flight plan, the route will be operated once a week, taking off from Milan every Thursday, entering Tianjin on Friday, and returning to Italy on Saturday.

In recent years, pragmatic cooperation between Tianjin and Italy in various fields has been deepened, and friendly exchanges have become increasingly close. The opening of the fixed route between Milan and our city will further facilitate the exchange of personnel between China and Italy and effectively deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the context of the Covid-19 outbreak.
