As one of the four major future industries specified in the 14th Five-Year Plan of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, the bio-manufacturing industry is developing with full vigor. The Free Trade Zone has attached great importance to the development of bio-manufacturing industry, implemented the "Fertile Soil Platform" plan, and established a multi-level innovation platform of "New R&D Institutes + Research Institutes + Science and Technology Parks + Innovative Enterprises".
　　The Bio-manufacturing Industrial Park and Zhongke Fosun Tianjin Bio-industry Base Project are the two major platform projects of the Bio-manufacturing Valley, accounting for 40% of the total investment. Upon completion, the Projects will enhance the service capability of dual innovation platforms, promote the integration of innovation elements, continuously optimize the ecological environment of science and technology innovation, comprehensively stimulate the vitality of science and technology innovation, and promote the transformation and implementation of more scientific and technological achievements in the Free Trade Zone.
