Recently, the enterprise of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, New Tianjin Steel Decai Technology Group, aiming at the national key project nuclear power plant, has increased the research and development of new products. The third generation of nuclear power steel strand independently developed by its subsidiary Zhongxing Shengda Co., Ltd. has been successfully applied in "Hualong No. 1", with the current market share exceeding 95%.
　　The technicians of Zhongxing Shengda told the reporter that the products of Zhongxing Shengda had been applied for the first time as early as in the construction of China's second-generation nuclear power plant, opened up the application record of domestic steel strand, and realized exclusive supply. With the upgrading and iteration of the nuclear power construction industry, Zhongxing Shengda has successfully developed the third-generation steel strand used for nuclear power recently, successfully realized the promotion-based application in "Hualong No.1", and become the main supplier. In order to ensure the stability of steel strand used for nuclear power, Zhongxing Shengda cooperates with Baosteel Co., Ltd., a top raw material manufacturer in China, to jointly develop "special wire rod for nuclear power steel strand". In addition, in the face of the special testing requirements for nuclear power steel strands, Zhongxing Shengda independently designed the first set of high-temperature relaxation testing machine, large tonnage deflection tensile testing machine, fatigue testing machine and other special equipment in China, so as to conduct all the self-test of the performance of domestically made nuclear power steel strands in a real sense.
