In October 2023, during an inspection of AVIC’s Changhe Aircraft Industry Group, President Xi Jinping emphasized, “Aircraft equipment is a key focus of China’s manufacturing development. We must adhere to innovation-driven development, intensify more efforts in independent R&D of core technologies, develop new products to meet future demands, and strive to build an advanced manufacturing system and create world-class helicopter enterprises.” To thoroughly implement President Xi’s important instructions, promote global helicopter industry cooperation, and enhance the core competitiveness of China’s aviation industry, AVIC and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Ground Force are jointly organizing the 7th China Helicopter Exposition. The event will be held from October 16 to 19 at the AVIC Tianjin Civil Helicopter Industrial Base, under the theme “Open Innovation, Integrated Development, Cultivating New Quality Productive Forces.” With the format of “conferences, exhibitions, demonstrations, and trade,” the expo will showcase new technologies, products, and achievements in general aviation (like helicopters), and the low-altitude economy (like drones) through four platforms for cooperation and exchange, technological innovation, product trade, and achievement transformation. The scale of participation, diversity of exhibits, and level of professional activities will be further enhanced.
