Along the shore of the Bohai Sea, tower cranes of dozens of meters in height are lifting heavy steel plates, and machines are roaring on the construction site. Not far away, the efficient structure pipeline intelligent manufacturing workshop begins to take shape, and the overall steel structure frame has been built up.

At present, CNOOC Engineering Tianjin Intelligent Manufacturing Base Project Phase II, China's first intelligent manufacturing base for offshore oil and gas production equipment, located in Binhai New Area of Tianjin City, is stepping up construction and progressing smoothly.

It is understood that the Project Phase II is expected to get trial production conditions at the end of October this year, when the base will form an intelligent production center including four main parts of panel block production line, process pipeline production line, structure pipeline production line and automatic stereo warehouse, to build itself into a comprehensive base integrating marine engineering intelligent manufacturing, smart service guarantee for oil and gas field operation and maintenance, marine technology original innovation R&D platform and other functions.
