(hereinafter referred to as "Cold Rolled Sheet Company"), an enterprise in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, that, the 3# galvanized production line upgraded by the Company with an investment of RMB 50 million has been put into production, and zinc-aluminum-magnesium products are being launched into the market step by step. The production line is expected to have an annual output of 700,000 tons of zinc-aluminum-magnesium products, which are mainly used in new energy distributed PV projects and other fields, zinc-aluminum-magnesium materials and products or become the mainstream trend of PV racking later.
It is understood that the PV power plants are generally built in harsh environmental areas such as coastal mudflats, deserts, Gobi and water surfaces, and the design service life of the PV racking of the PV power plant should be not less than 25 years, resulting in extremely high requirements for the anticorrosive properties of the PV racking. The zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel sheet produced by the 3# galvanized production line of Cold Rolled Sheet Company is the ternary alloy high stone-resistant steel sheet composed of zinc, aluminum and magnesium, which is a new type of PV racking material, and the plating layer can make the surface of the steel sheet to form a layer of dense and effective barrier to prevent the corrosion factors from penetrating. The rust resistance of zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel sheet is 10 to 20 times higher than that of pure galvanized sheet, and can almost meet the standard of stainless steel, and it also features excellent corrosion resistance, excellent workability, and superior damage resistance. Due to the fact that the plating composition around the cutting surface can provide protection to the cutting surface, the cutting surface can be repaired by itself, suppress corrosion, and the service life can be up to 30 years or more.
"For the 3# galvanizing production line, the original Sellars annealing technology for high-grade automobile plates has been retained, which can realize precise temperature control in multiple zones, and is accompanied by a unique patented post-plating cooling equipment, so as to effectively curb the phenomenon of "black spots" on the surface of the products.” Guo Wanping, Deputy General Manager of Cold Rolled Sheet Company, says that zinc-aluminum-magnesium products feature obvious advantages over ordinary galvanized products in terms of corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, friction resistance, and notch protection, and can be widely applied in multiple fields such as photovoltaic supports, animal husbandry, and high-speed guardrails.
