On July 4, Tianjin Haite Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Haite"), an enterprise in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, completed the regular checkup of its 500th aircraft and delivered it to Spring Airlines.

   Tianjin Haite, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hite Group, is a strategic core platform for Haite Group to deploy in Northeast Asia and expand to the world in the aviation industry sector. Since its official production in 2014, Tianjin Haite has been developing steadily and has obtained 8C maintenance capability authorization from CAAC, EASA, FAA A320 and B737NG. Up to present, a total of 500 scheduled aircraft have been repaired and delivered for 42 customers at home and abroad.

   In recent years, Tianjin Haite has continued to expand its business fields, increasing its maintenance capacity and steadily improving maintenance quality, and has developed into a leading third-party independent MRO in China. Since the completion and operation of the Phase II hangar in 2018, Tianjin Haite has leaped to 6 maintenance lines, while acquiring full painting capacity, and has completed 48 full painting missions for 14 customers in more than 4 years. This year, Tianjin Haite further engaged in regular checkup + painting + lease surrender business for 2 overseas aircraft and lease surrender checkup + painting business for 4 aircraft under EASA system.

   The B737NG passenger-to-cargo STC developed by Haite Group and IAI has broken the monopoly of foreign cutting-edge technologies and filled the technology gap in the field of green remanufacturing of B737-700/800 "passenger-to-cargo" in China, while promoting the transformation and upgrading of Tianjin Haite from maintenance manufacturing to aviation engineering technology. Since the implementation of the first Boeing B737-700 passenger-to-cargo aircraft conversion in China by Tianjin Haite in 2018, it has successively obtained the FAA and CAAC qualification for passenger-to-cargo conversion capability, and formed the scale of two passenger-to-cargo conversion lines, and has now completed and delivered eight B737NG passenger-to-cargo aircraft.

   According to Chen Jiancong, General Manager of Tianjin Haite, based on the mature operation and management experience of Haite Group, Tianjin Haite will further improve the mechanism, innovate the business model, continuously improve the quality of operation and comprehensive benefits, and drive the balanced development of high-level regular checkup and passenger-to-cargo project.
