From the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, it is informed that the economic and social development of the Free Trade Zone in 2021 has achieved an increase both in quality and efficiency, and completed the development goal of "Million, Ten Million and Hundred Million Levels". District-level general budget revenue and district-level tax revenue both exceeded RMB 10 billion, with growth rates up to 14.3% and 20.8% respectively; GDP exceeded RMB 100 billion; and trade industry sales stepped up to RMB 1 trillion, with a growth rate of 37.6%. The main economic indicators such as GDP, industrial output value, the amount of domestic capital in place and the actual utilization of foreign capital have been leading the city in terms of growth rate.
　　Since the previous year, the Free Trade Zone has focused on strengthening the core engine and attracting fruitful investment, introducing a total of 1,367 key projects throughout the year, including 39 Fortune 500 projects and 327 physical projects. Aiming at "Building the City with Manufacturing" and "Reinforcing the Zone with Manufacturing", the Free Trade Zone has signed 40 key manufacturing projects such as Lenovo Intelligent Innovation Service Industrial Park and Honeywell Process Control Operation and Research Center. Meanwhile, it has accelerated the introduction of projects from Beijing, deepened cooperation with central enterprises, and attracted 13 second and third-tier companies of central enterprises, such as Power Construction Corporation of China and State Power Investment Corporation.
