On February 15, it is learned from Tianjin Haite Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd, an enterprise based in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, that the enterprise has been formally approved by CAAC on the conversion of B737-800 aircraft from passenger to cargo capacity. At this point, Tianjin Haite has officially become the only maintenance organization in China with the capability of converting B737-700 and B737-800 from passenger to cargo as approved by CAAC.
　　To further enhance the aircraft structure modification capability, Tianjin Haite has deployed arrangements and analyzed priorities half a year in advance, performed multiple self-examinations, adjustments and reviews, and officially launched the second B737NG aircraft passenger-to-cargo conversion line in June 2021, thereby forming two parallel passenger-to-cargo conversion lines to satisfy the demands of more orders. During this period, the company has continuously explored and optimized the project, and established a standardized process complying with the regulatory requirements of the CAAC and fulfilling the construction conditions in all aspects, such as personnel, equipment, aviation materials and plant facilities.
