Recently, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, the aviation industry and Airbus jointly signed a framework agreement on expanding the final assembly line of Airbus Tianjin A320 to A321 project cooperation. It is planned to expand the production capacity of the final assembly line of A320 series aircraft in Tianjin, China to A321. According to the production plan of the project, the final assembly line of Airbus Tianjin will start the upgrading of relevant plants and facilities in July next year, and will be gradually put into operation in October.
　　It is learned that Airbus A321, the largest member of A320 series, with extremely spacious cabin in a single aisle aircraft, has the maximum capacity of carrying 244 passengers under the circumstance of single cabin layout, and the longest range can reach 4,700 nautical miles (8,700 km)
　　The implementation of the A321 project is another major milestone in the tripartite cooperation between Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, the aviation industry and Airbus, which fully demonstrates the deeper and higher-level cooperation among the three parties, and creates better conditions for realizing the strategic positioning of Airbus as the center of Asia as soon as possible and promoting the agglomeration and development of the aviation industry in Tianjin.
