China Railway Design Corporation strictly checked against the criteria to prevent errors in technical safety and quality, the whole line of China-Laos Railway has been put in operation

　　Recently, the whole line of China-Laos Railway connecting Kunming of China and Vientiane of Laos and adopting Chinese standards has been put in operation. The enterprise of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, China Railway Design Corporation ("CRDC" for short), undertook the evaluation of the project feasibility study report on behalf of the Laotian side, bidding consultation, design consultation and construction supervision, etc.

　　The China-Laos Railway is an international railway directly connected with China's railway network, starting from Kunming in Southwest China in the north, passing the Mohan Railway Port in China and the Boten Railway Port in Laos, entering northern Laos, and reaching Vientiane, the capital of Laos southbound via Louang Namtha and Oudomxay, with a total length of 1,035km.

　　The operation of the China-Laos Railway has strengthened exchanges between the two peoples, greatly facilitated people's travel, and promoted the development of tourism, agriculture, water conservancy and other resources along the route as well as the construction of urbanization, which is of great significance to make closer economic, social and cultural cooperation and exchanges between China and Laos and build a China-Laos community with a shared future.
