Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) issued a notice, in order to deepen and expand the China-EU regional policy cooperation mechanism, the Chinese case areas for the third round of China-Europe regional policy cooperation have been determined after expert review and case area defense. Among them, with its experience as the case, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone was successfully included in the list.

　　As a national open functional area, over the years, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone has worked hard to establish cooperative relationship with European Technology Chamber for the implementation of cooperation in aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine and other fields, and signed the framework cooperation agreements with Italian Association of Aerospace Enterprises, EU Association of Enterprises, and Finnish Business Association, for the purpose of establishing and strengthening the cooperative relationship between Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and European enterprises.

　　To be successfully included in this list will further promote the new advantages of open development in Tianjin. In the next step, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone will build an open modern industrial system with open function display and new development vitality by relying on the open function and system advantages of "Dual ports + Free trade". In addition, through making full use of regional advantages, and diversify cooperation of both sides, the China-EU practical cooperation will be promoted to a new level.
