Recently, the “ultrasonic postwelding treatment equipment” project declared by Tianjin Yipu Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yipu Technology”), an enterprise in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, has been qualified for the national finals of the Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2021.

Yipu Technology, established in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone in 2017, is a national hightech enterprise engaged in the development and application of cuttingedge technologies in welding related fields with the technical team led by Professor Wang Dongpo from Tianjin University. At present, the company owns 34 patents, including 10 patents for invention, mainly focusing on the development of construction machinery and wind power market.Dr. Wu Liangchen, Technical Director of Yipu Technology, said that the ultrasonic postwelding treatment equipment is a kind of weld life extension equipment. The recently produced two kinds of ultrasonic postwelding treatment equipment including UIT series ultrasonic impact machine and UPM series ultrasonic shot peening machine will fill the gap in the industry in Tianjin, with the broad equipment market prospect.
