In early July, China's first commercial satellite-borne GNSS-R ocean reflection detection load was successfully launched at Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center with Jilin No. 1 wide 01B satellite developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. and entered the predetermined orbit successfully. This marks that Tianjin Yunyao Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Yunyao Aerospace), an enterprise in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, has become the first commercial company in China that successfully launched satellite-borne GNSS-R ocean reflection detection load. After completing the on-orbit commissioning, the satellite entered the normal working mode and successfully downloaded DDM data three times in recent two weeks. In the future, it can measure the global typhoon speed effectively and serve the global weather forecast with the realization of satellite global networking by Yunyao Aerospace.

　　It is learned that the satellite carried out GNSS-R ocean refection detection task for many times from July 16 to 24. The telemetry data was normal. It captured wind field data of the sea surface along the way over the Pacific Ocean and transmitted DDM data for three times. The DDM map was horseshoe shaped. Through ground data analysis and interpretation, the GNSS-R ocean reflection detection data is normal and provides accurate L1a level (after correction) data for subsequent wind speed inversion.
