At 4:00 p.m. on April 17, the final closure section of 450-ton steel truss girder was hoisted to the predetermined position and realized precise coupling, and the main channel bridge of Jiaojiang super large bridge on Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou railway, constructed under the general contracting of China Railway Design Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China Railway Design" for short) in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, was successfully closed, indicating the successful completion of the four line high-speed railway cable-stayed bridge with the largest span in China, and laying a foundation for the project's completion and opening to traffic by the end of 2021.

　　It is learned that the Jiaojiang super large bridge is located in Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The main channel bridge is 962.7 meters long, with a main span of 480 meters. It is a four line steel truss cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and double cable planes. The main beam is a regular N-shaped double main truss with 60 pairs of stay cables. The main pylon is a vase shaped pylon with a height of 190 meters and the longest pile length of 123 meters. A total of 30,000 tons of steel, 150,000 cubic meters of concrete, 16,000 tons of steel bars and 2,500 tons of parallel steel wires are used in the whole bridge.
