Structural modification, installation of stiffener and flange, all-round strengthening of the main hold floor beam of the aircraft… Recently, the hangar of Tianjin Haite Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Haite" for short) presented a busy scene. With the help of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee, Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Tianjin Customs and other administrations and organizations, Tianjin Haite has enhanced its production capacity this year, and started the first B737-800BDSF passenger-to-cargo aircraft modification, indicating a new chapter of Tianjin Haite's passenger-to-cargo modification projects.

　　According to an in-charge person of Tianjin Haite, at present the first B737-800BDSF project is proceeding well. The front cabin wall skin removal, which is technically difficult, has been completed. The upcoming installation of hold door will be performed using the process of "pre-assembly based overall installation of reinforcement door frame", which is one of the core modifications in the "passenger-to-cargo" design. At the same time, the workers are comprehensively strengthening most of the main hold floor beams of the aircraft.
