According to professional sci-tech novelty retrieval reports, the technology of Offshore Oil Engineering has reached the international leading level. "This technology is the most advanced, reliable and environmentally friendly welding technology for the vertical seam of LNG inner tank in China, leading the development direction of LNG tank welding technology." At the expert review meeting, the authoritative expert group of the industry spoke highly of this technology. At present, it has been successfully applied to the PipeChina Zhangzhou LNG project, and the welding quality is stable and reliable. Compared with the traditional manual welding process, it can save welding materials by 50% and labor hours by more than 95%. Taking a 160,000m3 LNG tank as an example, the welding construction period can be shortened by 20 days, thus greatly reducing the construction cost of the project.
According to Yu Yi, board chairman and Party secretary of Offshore Oil Engineering, in the next step, the process will be applied in other projects such as Tangshan LNG, Longkou LNG, and Zhuhai LNG, and Offshore Oil Engineering will further enhance its core competitiveness in EPCM (engineering, procurement, construction and management) general contracting of LNG projects, strive to help Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone build a leading area for manufacturing high-end marine equipment and facilities, and add new driving force to accelerate the construction of natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system and the optimization of energy structure in China.
