On May 22, the 2021 RoboCup Robot World Cup China and the Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational Tournament were closed successfully at the Airport Sports Center in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. During the two days, more than 200 teams from more than 10 countries and regions brought a top-level robot contest to the audiences from all over the country and even the world through simultaneous "online and offline" competitions. The two major robot contests were held for the first time in Tianjin, which is of great significance for promoting the development of Tianjin's robotics science and robotics education industry, stimulating exchange of ideas on intelligent robots, promoting in-depth integration of production, teaching and research, and introducing high-tech talents.

After the preliminary rounds and semi-finals, the finals were held on the afternoon of May 22 and were even more exciting. After the finals, some team members embraced each other for celebration, and some took photos with the robots to record the unforgettable moment. "I've led a team to participate in the robot contest in Tianjin in 2019. This year we have more participants." Teacher Yang from a robot activity center in Luoyang, Henan told the reporter that many children had come to Tianjin for the contest for the first time and they were very excited.
