This special line has four oil lines and one bulk cargo line. The bulk cargo line, opened for operation on May 14, 2018, allows stopping and loading/unloading of a whole train. The oil lines, opened for operation on July 24, 2020, have two trestles and four railway lines. The loading and unloading operation is carried out on the two sides of the trestles, and these lines allow stopping and loading/unloading of a whole tank train (with 55 cars). The oil lines are connected by pipeline to surrounding storage areas and docks, forming an integrated logistics mode consisting of railway, storage area and dock. The opening and operation of the oil lines realized a new port-railway combined transport mode for bulk commodities such as bulk cargo, container and liquid chemicals. The Special Railway Line of Harbor North Section has become a top-grade Railway yard/station of comprehensive railway transport in China.
