Li Fenghui, general manager of Yunyao Aerospace, introduced that the GNSS occultation meteorological detection load launched by the CZ-6 carrier rocket was a new type of integrated satellite-borne remote sensing detection device. With high temporal and spatial resolution, it can simultaneously detect multiple regions of the earth. The GNSS occultation signal is received by the phased array antenna, and the parameters such as atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure, ionospheric electron density, and the like are obtained through comprehensive processing and inversion of data. It can meet the requirements of real-time and rapid acquisition of atmospheric environment parameters with high spatial and temporal resolution.
"For the load launched this time, the team has worked hard for three months. They have successively carried out design improvement, equipment commissioning, environmental test and mountain-based field experiment, obtained a large amount of mountain-based experimental data, and improved the data reversibility rate, laying a solid foundation for the successful launch," Li Fenghui said.
He said that this was the company's second launch of detection loads in this year. Yunyao Aerospace's goal is to build a global network constellation with 80 satellites in orbit, so as to facilitate the development of upstream and downstream industries, form a real-time global atmosphere and ionization detection system, serve the global weather forecast and short-term earthquake forecast, and provide short-term earthquake forecast information and weather forecast information with a real-time performance better than 20 minutes for the countries involved in the "Belt and Road" initiative.
